Make it a Great Day!

Pre-dawn. The time of peace and solitude when the moon has gone to bed and the sun has yet to wake up. When the trees and plants are still asleep, moist with dew and creatures of all sizes are holding on to the last few moments of slumber.  Cool and calm, it is a perfect time to reflect on life, love, and how it all comes together.  It is the start of a new day and the endless possibilities that it holds.

Breathe. Let your thoughts flow out on paper. Renew yourself in the coolness of the air. All distractions can wait a few more minutes when the sun will rise and the day will start. A hot cup of tea in hand I think about where life has taken me in the last few months. So often we just glide through life, not really taking the time to reflect on our paths, simply accepting it and settling. How would our lives differ if we took a few hours a week or even a month to communicate with those walking the path with us? How much more fulfilling would our lives be if we faced our problems head on instead of trying to hide them and remembering to tell those we love that we love them and why.

Take action. Even if it a small change, make it for the better. sun4Step out of your comfort zone and build confidence in yourself. We all have insecurities and faults, so take ownership of them, own them, do not let them own you. Only then can you build upon your strengths.  You are amazing just where you are, no matter where you are in your path, no matter the circumstances surrounding you. If someone like me can do it, anyone can.

Make it a Great Day!
